As Sk'ar beats Aron and says Shiva IV will provide him strong troops, Leia is led in from interrogation. Delois, now Sk'ar's ally, prepares a mock Calian Aerial Battleship to drop an anti-matter bomb on Illÿriaqum during the Concordat celebration and enslave the masses. En route to holding cells, Aron and Leia overpower their guards and steal a Battleship. She is shaken at murdering the guards, but Aron first killed at age twelve and is unaffected. Sk'ar sends TIEs to stop them from alerting the city but Leia destroys them. Strafing the deck of Sk'ar's airship, their ship is hit, but they jump to the deck before it crashes. Aron stops Leia from falling over the side, and together they fight their way to the bomb. As Leia disarms it, Delois jumps from above, sword in hand. She turns and is only wounded, and Luke grabs him from behind and knocks him out. Shocked, Leia and Aron turn to see Kéral Longknife and Chewie dropping from the Falcon . Luke rushes to her, but is most concerned with the bomb. The Rebels and locals together defeat Sk'ar's troops, then Lando land the Falcon and chases Sk'ar, but a personal force field deflects his shots. Sk'ar escapes aboard a flier, but Chewie throws a steel gun mount, destroying it. Leia disarms the bomb, and as Aron watches her hug Luke, he knows he cannot have her. In the days following, a Calian fleet defeats Sk'ar's, Delois' conspirators are tried for treason, and a victory party is held. Luke accompanies Leia to the party, Aron joins his wife, Lando flirts with man women, and Chewie and the droids watch from the sidelines. Communicating with the Falcon 's scanners, R2 notices a Star Destroyer entering orbit and alerts the others. The Rebels board the Falcon to intercept, feeling hopeless. Wearing a warcloak given her by Alisande, Leia fears Shiva IV will be another Alderaan. She and Luke man the guns as five TIEs attack, but a Star Destroyer forces them toward a black hole. Luke takes the controls and accelerates toward the black hole; fearful of Vader's wrath, the Imperials follow. He uses the Force to escape its gravity field, but the Star Destroyer is caught. Later, as others celebrate, Leia mourns all the killing. Luke offers to leave her on here, but she knows she must continue to lead the Rebellion.
