SUMMARY:

Ki-Adi finally finds where the gang is hiding, but when he gets there the place is empty. He is attacked by a mean-looking mercenary droid that was left behind.

THE STORY

This is a more action-oriented part of the series. It also shows that Jedi are not invincible as Ki gets his butt kicked even after he got his lightsaber given back to him. He even ends up in a bacta tank.

I liked the interrogation scene very much. It is very well handled, and Ki even wonders how much use of the Force to interrogate someone is too much.

There is another flashback showing Ki training with Yoda with his lightsaber. Once again, the sequence brings some new light to what Ki is feeling at that moment.

THE ART

Yoda doesn't look better than in the last issue. But the merc droid has a very nice design. It does look very menacing, and the fight sequences between it and Ki are well-handled. The droid POV shots are good too.

Mr. Winn is still maintaining his great work.

CONCLUSIONS

While it doesn't advance the plot much, this issue is still very entertaining.
