The good folks behind the Kessel Run game of Celebration IV invite you to participate in the Bounty Hunt of Celebration V. The CV site provides details as what to expect from the adjusted trivia/clue/race game...
"At the start of the race, each team will receive a race scorecard and an initial set of clues. Solving a clue will guide the team to their destination, where they will get a stamp on their scorecard from their target. Solving clues and earning the stamp might involve some Star Wars trivia, cracking a Republic code, solving a Sith puzzle, or even being able show your skill with a thermal detonator. Targets might have different amounts of credits on their head based on difficulty. After finishing their first set of clues and bringing their completed scorecard back to the Bounty Hunters Guild headquarters, teams will earn credits for their successful bounties and receive a second set of clues, leading them to new and more challenging targets. After solving a final series of clues and traveling the galaxy, teams will be competing to be first across the finish line at the Guild headquarters, with a full set of scorecard stamps to confirm that they found their most elusive prey.
While the first round of clues might be considered easy and fun for the casual fan or the family playing as a team of bounty hunters, the later rounds of clues will increase in difficulty level but also will be worth more credits. The winners will be determined by who has successfully returned in two hours with the most bounty credits earned, and in the shortest amount of time.
The Bounty Hunt is open to all Celebration V participants, but spots are limited to 100 teams per race. Bounty hunter teams must have at least two members, and no more than four members. There will be three different Bounty Hunt challenges:
Thursday (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm) Friday (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm) Sunday (12:30 pm to 2:30 pm)
Registration for the Bounty Hunt can be done online by August 5 or at the convention, on the day of the event at the Bounty Hunt registration booth. Teams that register in advance online will be required to check in at the booth prior to that day?s event to confirm their team?s participation or lose their slot in the event. All teams, whether they register online or at the convention will need to fill out waivers prior to the race. Teams may compete in multiple races but they can register in advance for only one race."
