Zahn Han Solo Novel Gets Blurb

It's that time of year again when a new Random House catalog gets posted online and Star Wars fans scour the catalog's contents for tidbits about Expanded Universe books. This time around, the tidbit concerns Timothy Zahn's Han Solo-focused OT-era novel, which is currently untitled and set for a winter release. Here's the blurb from the catalog:

Ocean?s Eleven meets Star Wars in this classic adventure set just after Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. From #1 New York Times bestselling author Timothy Zahn.

The Death Star has just been destroyed and Han Solo still needs the money to pay off the bounty on his head. Now the opportunity to make that money and then some has walked into his life in the form of the perfect heist. With nine like-minded scoundrels, he and Chewbacca just might be able to pull it off and live to tell the tale!

The catalog entry's sidebar also notes that Lando Calrissian will be in the story. Plus, the book jacket will feature "wraparound artwork" depicting the various smugglers and fringe types featured in the central heist.

UPDATE: Del Rey's Erich Schoeneweiss confirmed to me that the December 26th date listed on the catalog page is the accurate projected release date for this novel. Sounds like the perfect use for that Christmas money you just received!
