Starwars.com is taking the time to remind us that besides the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO on the horizon, we have a number of tie-ins to hold us over and look forward to. They include:
-The currently running online comic series Threat of Peace by Rob Chestney will be making it's way into a Dark Horse trade paperback in April of 2010.
-Be on the lookout for an online short story by Rob Chestney to show up on SW.com sooner or later.
-A second TOR novel will then follow to be written by Crosscurrent author, Paul S. Kemp.
More as we hear it!
UPDATE: Author Paul S. Kemp offers a bit more clarification on his upcoming TOR novel, in regards to his other announced projects, on his Facebook page:
"Since it's been mentioned at Starwars.com, I can confirm that I'll be writing a third Star Wars novel, this one a hardcover set in The Old Republic and connected to The Old Republic MMORPG ( to be clear, this Old Republic novel is NOT the sequel to Crosscurrent that I mentioned in another post; that sequel will be a mass market paperback and will not be set in The Old Republic time frame).
As the article states, this novel is in the very early stages so we're still working through details. I'll provide them when I have them and get the okay."
UPDATE #2: Sue Rostoni provides further confirmation that Paul S. Kemp has 3 Star Wars novel projects in the pipeline, including Crosscurrent. See her response below from the SW.com boards:
"The Old Republic novel is in addition to his CROSSCURRENT sequel novel. So he'll be doing three separate novels."
