I have yet to spot a full on panel report from yesterday's Fate of the Jedi panel but EUCantina has a great SDCC report going which touches on a few of the highlights. Following lots of speculation regarding Elaine Cunningham's Zekk-centered novel, Blood Oath has been postponed indefinitely but has not been officially canceled.

The third Lost Tribe of the Sith e-book should be available around the same time Aaron Allston's FOTJ: Backlash is released.

Book #6 in the Fate of the Jedi series will be titled, Vortex. (by Troy Denning)

Tim Zahn's previously reported follow up to Allegiance will be headed to book shelves in October of 2011.

UPDATE: A few links for you as we follow up on the Fate of the Jedi panel from Comic-Con 2009...

ClubJade.net lets us know that Sue Rostoni has been talking and answering questions about the panel on the SW.com boards. Excerpt below:

"A bunch of us met (authors, editors, et al) Saturday morning for a lengthy story conference -- looking at the remaining books in the series, and discussing the over-all plot(s). We discussed characters' motivations and the galaxy at large and realized that another critical sub-plot was developing on Coruscant that could be pursued. I love these meetings -- sitting in a room together -- brainstorming, laughing, and eating muffins. I feel honored to be able to contribute creatively and watch the really talented people take a small idea and come up with captivating situations. And the interaction among the authors works exceptionally. Christie would have a spark of an idea that Aaron would hit on and set up in his book; Troy would see something developing in Christie's book that he'd want to finish off; some small throw-away line would become a set-up for something happening somewhere else... We'd come up with a major development and then see whose book it should occur in, with exclamations of "Wow! I get to put that in my book!!" -- everyone works so well together that it's going to be a really cohesive series."
