TOR.com has a detailed report up from Del Rey's Star Wars Books panel at New York Comic Con. While much of the information is old news (for example, John Jackson Miller's Lost Tribe of the Sith anthology and Aaron Allston's X-Wing: Mercy Kill), they do mention a couple of new details that we thought we'd pass along.
On The Essential Guide to Warfare: "Vignettes will be laced through the chronology, including Lando?s account of his ?little manuveur? at the Battle of Tanaab and reflections on what it was like to be a female stormtrooper. There will be a detailed ship classification system and a history of Mandalorian society."
On Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse: "[T]he back cover features Jaina Solo and Jag Fel." (You can see that back cover here via Man in Black Reviews. They've also posted the back cover of Darth Plagueis, which features Darth Maul.) TOR.com continues: "In the original version of the back cover, Jag was wearing an X-Wing pilot uniform."
