As we gear up for the release of Aaron Allson's Fate of the Jedi: Outcast next week, Del Rey is offering up a free downloadable PDF guide complete with an 11 page excerpt, to get you started in the new hardcover series. If you're new to the Expanded Universe, then this is a great way to catch up and start fresh. If you're an EU veteran, the guide could stil be of help, for let's face it, there's a lot of information to remember.
