Have to admit I was not aware of this one until I saw a post up at the always fantastic ClubJade.net, but apparently the eventual paperbacks for the Fate of the Jedi series will be released in a slightly larges size than what we're used to with Star Wars paperbacks. Unfortunately, this also means a bit of a higher paperback price.
"I found out about the higher price for the paperbacks -- yes, the Fate of the Jedi paperbacks will be $9.99 in the U.S. They're making the books a little larger and calling them "premium" paperbacks -- they're 3/4" taller and a touch wider. Seems to be the trend in paperbacks now. I don't know yet whether this change is for all our paperbacks, or just the FotJ ones..."
If you tend to carry your books around in your pockets (is it just me?), you might want to pick up some deep-pocketed cargo pants at this point. More as we hear it!
UPDATE: Our friends over at ClubJade.net offer up a bit of clarification as to the size of the future Fate of the Jedi paperbacks. Only the FOTJ paperbacks seem to be getting this new size for now, but don't get them confused with trade paperbacks. Click here for the breakdown.
