Essential Reader's Companion Release Delayed

Del Rey's Erich Schoeneweiss just took to the Star Wars Books Facebook page to announce that the release of Star Wars: The Essential Reader's Companion has been delayed...

"DATE CHANGE: Pablo Hidalgo's upcoming book STAR WARS: THE ESSENTIAL READER'S COMPANION has been pushed back to an October 2, 2012 on sale date. The move was made to provide our exceptional art team a little more time to complete over 100 painted scenes plus nearly 50 character portraits from the Expanded Universe. I look forward to providing a sneak peek at the art soon."

We'll be sure to keep you posted when we hear more, especially when Erich starts sharing the book's artwork.
