The Queen's Amulet

This collector's book seems especially aimed at girls. It is a box that comes with a short hardback book and a plastic toy Queen's Amulet. The book details the story of Queen Amidala realizing that she lost her amulet, given to her by her father, and the details of her trying to find it. Once she finds it, she returns to the city during the Trade Federation invasion and trades places with her handmaiden, Sabe.
Scott:
This book is pretty neat for girl Star Wars fans. It's got a nice box to store stuff in, a toy amulet, and a nice little storybook. The art is fairly well done and it's good to see a little side story that takes place within the time frame of the film. I also enjoyed learning a little more about Amidala and her relationship with her father...though that wasn't much at all. The price of the book is within a kid's budget, too.
Scott:
The amulet is really not that impressive, and the book is really really short. For anyone other than a kid, this is probably not worth spending the money on, even though it really well done. It was also kind of funny to see Queen Amidala, in full costume, wandering through the grass plains on Naboo trying to find the amulet. You know she could barely walk in the getup. :)
Scott:
Sorry, nothing ugly here.
