As Boba Fett is transporting Han Solo (frozen in Carbonite) to Jabba on Tatooine, he runs into IG-88 who attempts to steal his prize. As he crash lands on the planet, he runs into some Stormtroopers he must battle. As he finally arrives at Jabba's palace, Bib Fortuna tries to steal Solo from him by distracting him with a Krayt Dragon. Still, Fett delivers the goods.

This book has some absolutely beautiful paintings in it. The artwork was EXTREMELY well done. The story is a variation of the story that occurs in SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE. It was really good to see Boba Fett in some really good action. The pop-ups are also some of the best I've seen done for a Star Wars book.

Take a guess at how much this little book costs. $18!!!!!!!! What are they thinkin'? I'm made of gold??!!! I was a sucker and bought it anyway. Was it good? Yes. Was it worth almost $20? Heck, no! I could have bought several novels that would have given me more entertainment than this. Shoot, you could have just about bought the SHADOWS novel for this price! As far as the story goes, the Dewbacks the Stormtroopers ride have the dinosaur legs like on the toy rather than the chicken legs we see in the Special Edition. How will they explain this? Who knows? That's about all that's bad.
Scott:
The price. Most definitely the price. You could say the critters in Jabba's Palace were more ugly, but I'd have to say the price.
