Uldir is frustrated with trying to learn the Force at the Jedi Academy, so he decides to take up the "magician" Orloc's offer from the last book. He grabs the Holocron, Obi-Wan's lightsaber, and a ship and flies to Exis Station to begin his training there. The whole gang flies after him to try and talk sense into him, but first they must face Orloc's tricks, battle droids, and a bunch of rat-like Ranats.
Scott:
Again, this is a good original story by Moesta. Also, another great cover. I also like the fact that this ties in nicely with the stories told in the Tales of the Jedi comics. Exis Station is a major location in the Redemption comics, so it's nice to see the continuity here, too.
Scott:
Even though Orloc puts up a better fight in this book with his gadgets, he doesn't seem to be a worthy foe for 3 Jedi Knights and a Jedi Master. He leaves them all looking like chumps over and over though he's not nearly as bad as some of the other villains. If getting the best of a Jedi Master was this easy, it's no wonder the Emperor wiped them out.
Scott:
Will Tahiri ever learn to wear shoes? Or possibly the fact that Ewan McGregor has forever altered the meaning behind "Kenobi's Blade"?
