Scott's Rating: 4 out of 4
Continuing the "Essential Guide to" series, this books covers all things relating to vehicles and vessels. From Sandcrawlers to Star Destroyers, and LADY LUCK to swoops. It covers around 100 items from the movies, books, comics, video games, and role playing games. Each entry has a nice sketch of the vessel by Doug Chiang and a schematic by Troy Vigil. It also has a detailed description of each ship, details on terms, and manufacturers of the machines.
Scott:
This is one of the best resources for looking for info on ships. I particularly love the detailed drawings of each ship. I always wondered what a Headhunter looked like, or an E-Wing, or any of the other expanded universe ships. Doug Chiang, famous prequel concept artist, did great work. I also liked the descriptions of the terms and other technology. A great book!
Scott:
No complaints here. Good details, good price. About the only thing you could do to improve it would be to have photos, but that would jack up the price. A great resource.
Scott:
Nothing ugly here other than the bright orange color.
