As Luke drifts in Limbo, half dead and half alive, on the spirit plane, he tries to survive and help his students fight Exar Kun at the same time. Can he be saved by reaching out psychically throught the Force to the twins Jacen and Jaina?
Meanwhile, Leia tries to save her son Anakin who is hidden on Anoth. Imperial Agents are on a mission to destroy the third Jedi child!
Finally, Luke's former student, Kyp Durron, steals the Sun Crusher and begins his mission of mass destruction which he believes is a just cause. Han hunts him down and tries to convince him of the error of his ways, as well as help him regain his honor. To do it, Kyp takes on Admiral Daala and the Death Star prototype! Will they survive? No! They all die!! Every one of them!!! Ha Ha Ha! Now you know the ending! (Just kidding, go read the book! Really!)
Scott:
As I've said before and I'll say again, I'm a big action fan. I liked this book because it had a lot of action. Like I usually say about KJA, I think he's good at making a fast paced book with good humor, characters, and action. I really liked the scene where Luke, in the spirit realm, helps Jacen fend off an attacker. (I won't tell you what happens, but if you read it, you know what I'm talking about.) I also felt the scene where Kyp destroys the Imperial Training planet (was it called Caridia? I don't remember at the moment) was very powerful. KJA created a very tense, very dramatic turning point in the story and Kyp's life. That was well done. Finally, the ending battle scene was very exciting. This book was a good conclusion to the Jedi Academy Trilogy.
Scott:
To tell you the truth, its been so long since I read the book, I can't really recall anything that struck me as bad. I'll go back and review the story again, but I don't want to try to make up anything bad just for the sake of filling space. Stay Tuned!

Kyp's daring getaway from the Death Star prototype. He must know Yoga! Ouch, that hadda hurt!
