Episode I Adventures #7
Capture Arawynne

This is the seventh book in the Star Wars Episode I Adventures series. It is a game created by Scholastic in which the reader follows the story, then plays the RPG game that supplements it. It is only available in one of three ways: by ordering it from the Scholastic school book fair or school order form, through the form stuck within Jedi Apprentice #3, #6, or #7, or by picking it up on the secondary market (eBay, used book stores, etc.). In any case, it is not easy to find at all.
Gardulla has placed a bounty on the head of Anakin's friends for releasing the Ghostling children. Little does Gardulla know that the Ghostlings and their rescuers are hiding right under her nose in her garden complex.
Never one to pass up an opportunity to make some money, Jabba tries to get Anakin's friend Dorn to rat them out. Dorn refuses and must run for it with the Ghostlings or be killed. Unfortunately, Sebulba and his goons follow Dorn and Anakin back to Gardulla's garden and to the Ghostlings. A dangerous game of cat and mouse takes place as the Ghostlings, Anakin, and his friends attempt to evade capture. Things are made all the more difficult since the garden is filled with dangerous, yet beautiful, plants and animals.
Scott:
The thing that I'll remember this book for is the fact that Dave Wolverton actually found a way to tie together Episode I and The Ewok Adventure. In Gardulla's garden, she has filled it with beautiful creatures and dangerous creatures. Hiding out with the Ghostling children are Wisties from the planet Endor. You'll remember that they are the Tinkerbell-like fairies from the first Ewok movie. Captured by slavers, the Wisties were delivered to Gardulla's garden as decorations. Surprisingly, they play a major part of the chase in the book!
Also in the garden is one of the monsters from The Ewok Adventure. It's the creature that lived in a tree stump and looked cute and furry, yet was actually a very large, vicious beast. It pops up, too.
Otherwise, this is a fairly standard chase story with a surprise ending.
Scott:
No real complaints about this book. And believe it or not, this is the first book that arrived at my house that wasn't destroyed! Wow!

Sebulba's goon being attacked by Audrey V, the mean green plant from outer space.
