Han realizes what the planet repulsors are being used for when he sees a ship get blasted to bits by one! Pretty nasty weapon, eh? Anyway, Luke and Lando make it through the interdiction field with the Bakurans and learn the secret of the Centerpoint station...it's the Starburster! And it's set to go off again and destroy another world!
Finally, the Human Leagues real leaders reveal themselves and declare their independence from the New Republic. What should the Alliance do?
This is the last book in the Corellian Trilogy.
Scott:
This book was a lot better than the first two, in my opinion. It had a lot more action and everything finally came down to its conclusion here. I was suprised to actually see a major character get killed in this story. Was it necessary? Debatable. One cool scence is where the twins and Anakin fly the Millenium Falcon. That was a lot of fun! I also like the new droid characted, which is an upscale model of R2.
Scott:
One of the things that I didn't care for was that in all of the books, the characters theorize about what's going on. They said, "Well, this could be the reason, or possibly that, or I could be wrong and it could be this." Each of their theories would take up two pages or so. The debates really dragged on. The worst was when we already knew the answer to what they were debating, and they still took forever to debate it. It really hurt the pacing of the story. The ending was kind of cheesy, as well. Stll, I liked this book better than the first two, though I gave it the same rating as the second. It just felt like a 3 Death Star book!

Having to use Jedi Tricks to escape from Centerpoint. Is it hot in here or is it just me?
