Han Solo's Cousin, Thracken Sal-Solo, has been revealed as the leader of the Human League, a group of anti-extraterrestrials who want to restore the Imperial way of doing things. His evil cousin locks up Solo with a Selonian named Dracmus and they attempt to escape and warn the New Republic about the plot.
Meanwhile, Leia, the Kids, and the Droids attempt to survive while all this bad stuff is going on. Luke and Lando try to get through the interdiction field to save their friends. But who's behind the Starburster weapon, and why are people trying to take control of the planetary repulsors, and what is the significance of the Centerpoint space station? You'll find out!
This is the second book in the Corellian Trilogy.
Scott:
In this book, you learn a lot about the other races that inhabit the Corellian solar system. You also learn a little bit about Han Solo's family. There's a really cool scene where Leia and Mara Jade have to make a daring escape from a high rise. It was also really cool to see Luke go back to Bakura to enlist the aid of his old friends from the early book. Also, the evacuation scene from the planet about to be destroyed by the Starburster was very exciting.
Scott:
Again, I didn't care for the pacing of the story. Also, the aliens are rather bland. There's not really anything unique, strange, or even alien about them. I did think this book was better than the first, though.
Scott:
Selonians. They are pretty ugly!
