This is a record of major and minor events in the existence of
the STAR WARS Technical Commentaries web site.
The listing is incomplete, since I began tracking progress only very recently.
The list is mainly meant as an aid for readers seeking the newest updates.
Progress on unreleased pages is not documented.
At any given time, at least five times as much activity is devoted to
incomplete, offline pages as to the documents which are visible to the public.
The number of pages under construction greatly outnumbers those which are
presently available for viewing.
2002-12-17
2002-12-15
- Added a few paragraphs to the Trade Federation page,
calculating the
troop capacity of a Trade Federation core ship
departing the Battle of Geonosis.
- Partially reorganised old pages dealing with
insignia,
military ranks
and added a new paragraph and table summarising structure of army (infantry)
units.
2002-10-25
- Added an appendix summarising some thoughts on the potential fruitfulness of the study
of explosions in the STAR WARS movies.
This should be an area of increasing interest for estimating
the yields of weapons in ground battles,
and the estimation of spatial scale on the observed battlefields.
2002-10-05
- I acknowledge another recent appendix added to
describe limits on the properties of planets that have
habitable surfaces;
Planets: Habitability.
Self-motivated readers may like to consider the likely properties
of the various planets and moons in STAR WARS or other science-fiction.

pointed out by M.Springer.
2002-05-26
- Reorganised the provisional TPM Topics section
as a Prequel Topics section,
to prepare to encompass material from Attack of the Clones
as well as The Phantom Menace.
- Added qualification about the age of C-3PO
in Endor Holocaust,
after suggestion by C.Dion.
2002-04-21

with newer, high-resolution images
and the post-1996 format for image links,
in Death Stars,
as a prelude to more substantial new content.
