Sense Scotland's Star Wars Fundraiser

Nina, of the Sense Scotland Fundraising Team, wrote in to spread the word of a Star Wars-themed event scheduled for May the Fourth...

"On Star Wars Day, Friday 4th May, Sense Scotland are holding a Star Wars themed fundraising event at our Glasgow venue, TouchBase. I wondered if there would be any opportunity to share this information with any fans you might know in the area who would be interested in attending an event which is not just Star Wars to the max, but is also for an excellent cause!

With a ticket for the event you will receive a hot dog along with a soft drink to wash it down with. There will be a raffle and tombola to enter with some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including some Star Wars goodies!

There will also be a Best Dressed competition so people can get into the spirit of the Star Wars theme by dressing up as your favourite character. The most impressive costume will win a prize!

The highlight of the evening will be a free showing of Star Wars Epidode IV: A New Hope on our big screen. You can even purchase popcorn and sweets to enjoy while you watch the film.

The fun kicks off at 7pm at TouchBase (43 Middlesex Street, Glasgow, G41 1EE). You can purchase your tickets by calling us on 0141 429 0294. Tickets are just ?8 and children under 12 are ?5.50."
