Del Rey Posts Heir Movie Casting Results

Del Rey has posted the winning actors and actresses from their "You Cast Star Wars: Heir to the Empire" game. James McAvoy, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Nathan Fillion would star as Luke, Leia, and Han in this hypothetical film based on Timothy Zahn's classic Expanded Universe novel. Check out the full list here.

UPDATE: Mr. Zahn was asked on Facebook what he thought of the results and had this to say:

"It was quite interesting, and definitely a lot of fun. As I've mentioned before, I would be rotten at casting such a movie because I see the characters in terms of attitudes and personalities rather than physical qualities. That being said, I think everyone in the list has the acting chops to do a terrific job with their particular designated roles. Well done, all!"
