The Imperial Star Destroyer Liquidator is quickly approaching the Rebel base on Yavin Four. It is part of an Imperial plan to control hyperspace?and crush the Rebellion. To prevent the Empire from carrying out this evil deed, the Rebels must locate the Imperial forces without being discovered. Your mission: to stop the Liquidator?and get out of Yavin Four alive!

    This isn?t a bad climax for Windham?s initial four book Missions arc, with an exciting chase from Yavin IV to Yavin VIII, and aboard the Star Destroyer Liquidator, culminating with a standoff involving a thermal detonator. Windham certainly knows his Star Wars, and the scenes with Luke, Han, and Leia aren?t bad for a kid?s game book.

Adrick:

    There?s not much to complain about here, except that the first four Missions books have been pretty bland. Things don?t really start to get interesting until later in the series.

    An Imperial fleet admiral biting his fingernails! How unseemly!
