Adventure Gamer has a news item they alerted us to about the upcoming E3 announcements from the gaming division of the Lucas world:
LucasArts' E3 website has today been updated with the dates on which they will make new product announcements: one game for next Wednesday, one on April 26, one on May 3, and five games on the day before the E3 kicks off. Through a backdoor on LucasArts' E3 website, Adventure Gamer has exclusively obtained the names of LucasArts' entire lineup, which includes the recently confirmed Monkey Island 4, a number of Star Wars titles and surprisingly, a project named "Indy".
LucasArts' E3 schedule is as follows:
4/19 - "Demolition" 4/26 - Monkey Island 4 5/3 - "Bombad" 5/10 - "Starfighter", Obi-Wan, "JPB" (Jedi Power Battles?), "Naboo" and "Indy"
Obi-Wan is the 3D action game that is to follow the legacy of Dark Forces and Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knights, this time following the adventures of young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Episode 1 timeline. Although the gaming press got a sneak peek of this project at last year's E3, more detailed information is expected to be revealed this year. Not much is known on Monkey Island 4 at this time, except that it will be in real-time 3D, contrary to its 2D hand-drawn predecessors.
At the time of posting, the loophole in LucasArts' website was already gone.
We've heard about several of these titles before, and these rumored announcements will be very interesting for the gaming universe of Star Wars. Bombad and Demolition? Sounds promising ...
