E3 2009 is off and running and we already have some news from LucasArts. From Starwars.com:

In The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, fans of adventure games get to re-experience the hilarious swash-buckling adventure all over again in a fully re-mastered edition that brings the classic game into the modern era.

Not to be outdone, the masters of adventure gaming known as Telltale Games are joining in the resurgence of Monkey Island to bring fans an all-new episodic story Tales of Monkey Island. In the same vein as the beloved Sam and Max and recently released Wallace and Grommit, fans will get to experience an all-new Monkey Island story over the course of five episodes."
