Catching Up With SW: The Old Republic

Posted By Mike on May 21, 2012

It was another rather quiet week over at the official site of Star Wars: The Old Republic, although we did get a post announcing the winner of the life-size Darth Malgus statue.

Besides some of the standard weekly updates to the Community News area of SWTOR.com, it look like they've added a new feature in the form of a Weekly Forum Thread Round-Up. Here's the intro from the first installment:

"Every week, we?re going to be highlighting some of the best discussions going on in our forums about Star Wars?: The Old Republic?. Most of these conversations will originate from our forums, but we will also highlight any interesting discussions that are happening on other sites whenever we can.

Feel free to nominate any discussions for next week in the forum thread for this blog."

Click here for the full read.

And as for those standard weekly updates, last week provided a new Dev Tracker Summary, the Weekly Patch Notes, and notice that there will not be any scheduled maintenance during the normal Tuesday time frame.

And as for this week's quick-hit TOR links...

Kotaku.com spotlights the TOR concept art of Paul Adam.

Videogamer.com and EA have formed together like Voltron in order to teach you how to build your own The Old Republic PC.

WMPoweruser.com reports that Windows Phone users can now download the SWTOR Guide.
