Steve Sansweet's Rancho Obi-Wan was the place to be yesterday as hundreds of close friends and family helped re-open the largest Star Wars collection in the world. Under construction for the past year and a half, Rancho Obi-Wan has added more square footage, artwork, collectibles, and a souvenir shop! While I was not able to attend due to personal reasons, the social media feeds were alive and kicking last night with some great photos from the event. The photos shown below are courtesy of Josh Ling, former Rancho Obi-Wan ranch hand.
You can see more pictures on the Twitter feeds of Lucasfilm's Matt Martin, Fanboys director Kyle Newman, and Robot Chicken executive producer Matt Senreich.
To coincide with the re-opening, Rancho Obi-Wan has launched a Twitter feed and a Facebook page, so check both of those out!
UPDATE: Our sister site Rebelscum has posted a giant photo gallery and accompanying story to give you a sense of what it was like at the re-opening. Check it out here!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
