Star Wars fans, hard-core and casual alike, all know the name Ralph McQuarrie. This legendary talent was the concept artist for the original Star Wars trilogy. It was Ralph who was the first to visualize the incredible ideas that George Lucas conceived for saga we all know and love. Join The Force-Cast as we pay tribute to this great man on his 80th birthday with The Ralph McQuarrie Birthday Spectacular! Jason and Jimmy Mac are joined by two very special guest co-hosts this week, from Team McQuarrie, its PAUL and ATHENA BATEMAN, who provide a look inside the creative mind of Ralph. Plus, we hear from the Star Wars pros who collaborated and/or were inspired by Ralph, including original Star Wars trilogy F/X wizard KEN RALSTON, Clone Wars Supervising Director DAVE FILONI, Clone Wars Concept Artist RUSSELL CHONG, and Prequel Concept Artist MARC GABBANA. Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
