I am a 23-year old lifelong SW fan who lives in Anniston, AL. This
project first started as a simple little timeline I cooked up in 1996 for a local bulletin board here in Anniston. In 1997 I got online and began working with Roderick Vonhogen?s then - newborn Virtual Edition (www.virtualedition.com). After a few months, I suggested putting the timeline up on the site. Since it was the Virtual Edition, we began illustrating it as well. It was Roderick who came up with the name ?Time Tales.? However, after a year, it got to be too much work to handle the Virtual Edition and Time Tales both. Roderick introduced me to the staff of the Force.net, and we mutually agreed to move Timetales there, to allow it to reach its? potential. That?s my story, and I hope you like this Chronology.
MICHAEL POTTS
I have been a Star Wars fan all of my life. I am 22 years old and from Mornington, Victoria, Australia. I work at Kmart Head Office, a major retail chain. I got in contact with Chris a couple of years ago when Timetales was still evolving on Roderick Vonhogen?s web site, and offered some info that I had researched from my own Star Wars ?library?. From there, I have become co ? author, continually adding information, offered advice and do a monthly edit. I am still constantly amazed by the work that Chris puts in to this, and I tell fans everywhere, that this is the most comprehensive timeline that I have seen! I am a member of the Star Wars Fanboy Association, and I used to be a staff member of the Star Wars Database (www.swdatabase.com) and wrote occasional editorials for them. You can also find a copy of Timetales on that site. I dedicate Timetales to my family and friends, who have put up with my Star Wars obsession for the entirety of my life! I hope you enjoy Timetales.

At the time of this writing, I am slightly more than ninety-eight percent of the way towards legal adulthood in the United States of America, where I reside in the humble and tiny state of Delaware. I have heard from several sources that I have been enjoying the Star Wars films almost since birth, but the dawn of my current obsessive state of fandom began in the early nineties. Several years ago I started the seemingly impossible but also incredibly fun and challenging task of creating the most comprehensive Star Wars timeline possible?only to find out, when I finally got online, that it had already been done (much to my dismay) in Time Tales. Recognizing the futility of my efforts and the fact that they were utterly incomparable to the glory that is Time Tales, I scrapped my meager timeline and started contributing regularly, most notably in the area of video game summaries, to what had by that point become Timetales. And now here I am. When not ruining my eyes and spine in front of my computer screen, I can often be found either at school or volunteering my time at a local bird hospital.
