The Clone Wars Portugal News

Our friend Jos? Fi?za sent over the following update regarding The Clone Wars film in Portugal:

"Here's some first hand info for TFN to share regarding the Portuguese version of the TCW movie, from the SWCP, Star wars Club Portugal.

Locally its called "Star Wars: A Guerra dos Clones" and will premiere on August 28, 2008. The PT poster was previously announced by our club on July 16 and we have since been working closely together with Columbia TriStar Warner Portugal sharing news about the movie.

Yesterday we were able to finally reveal the names (and faces) of the 15 actors who will lend their voices to the first ever Portuguese version of a Star Wars movie (animated or otherwise). You can see them here:

All is set for an outstanding performance, as these are all experienced professionals who have worked on many acclaimed movies before such as most of the Disney's features, Wall-e and many other animated movies seen on the silver screen (and TV) in my country.

Portuguese fans can't get enough of Star Wars and Aug. 28 will be a day long remembered because of The Clone Wars, certainly."
