TCW Voice Talk At Star Wars Weekends

Posted By Mike on June 22, 2008

Friend of TFN, Craig, was lucky enough to recently attend Star Wars Weekends and sent over the following report:

"I was at SW weekends today and got to talk to Mathew Wood. Couple of very interesting things happened.

When I asked him if Hayden or Ewan were doing the voices for the clone wars movie he said "I can't talk about it". I kind of nudged him a bit to get any response but he didn't budge. So when I asked him to sign a poster I printed online (the new clone wars one) he signed it Battle Droids (turns out he is the one to voice them in at least the clone wars movie). When I asked him how come he didn't sign it Grevious he said he couldn't talk about it (again) but did say Grevous would be in the show.

I also asked Amy Allen if Aayla was in the movie and she said she didn't know yet.

I just think it's very interesting that Matt couldn't "talk about it" at all...I mean to me that sounds like they're keeping a surprise for the fans. If it wasn't them, wouldn't he just say nah we have...so and so.

His big revelation to me...Christopher Lee is in it...Like we didn't know that already. SO we officially know they can't talk about it."

Thanks for the report Craig! Keeps The Clone Wars voice actor speculation going and going. The more they can't say, the more I think we're in store for some fun vocal surprises.
