Simon Pegg To Voice Dengar On TCW!

The good folks over at EW.com have broken the news that noted Star Wars fan and actor Simon Pegg will be voicing the one and only Dengar in Friday's upcoming episode of The Clone Wars. If you've checked out the episode guide for "Bounty" (S4 Ep. 20) then you know that a now-aimless Ventress has fallen in with some bounty hunters, including Boba Fett and Bossk. Sounds like fun -- and considering that Pegg is more of an OT lover than a PT lover, it only makes sense that he would portray Dengar, the mysterious head-covered hunter from Empire. UPDATE: TCW supervising director Dave Filoni said the following on Facebook: "I'm really excited to have Simon Pegg as a guest voice on The Clone Wars. Simon?s a passionate fan who can talk Star Wars for hours, and he cleared some time on his busy schedule to beam over from the final frontier into our universe."
