While Savage Opress has snagged all the press lately, one of the most dynamic and interesting characters to emerge from the Nightsisters story arc of The Clone Wars has been Mother Talzin. Peter Vilmur got a chance to chat with the voice of Mother Talzin, Barbara Goodson, about her new mysterious Clone Wars role over at the main site. Check out the intro below to learn a little bit about Barbara Goodson but then make sure to click here for the full Q&A.
"For a character with such formidable presence and gravitas, it's hard to believe the voice behind Nightsister Mother Talzin -- Barbara Goodson -- comes from an actress just five feet tall and who recently voiced a gentle sheep, small boy, and benevolent teacher in the Annie-nominated Cloud Bread children's television series.
Such a range shouldn't be surprising for an actress whose career spans four decades of film, television, and video game performances, including a healthy dose of English-translated Japanese anime: Power Rangers, X, Digimon, Naruto, Paradise Kiss, Robotech, Avatar: The Last Airbender (TV series), and scores of others.
We asked Goodson a bit about her role as Mother Talzin in the Nightsisters trilogy, and whether we'll be hearing any more from the high dame of Dathomir:"
