The Zeum Children's Museum in San Francisco, CA hosted a weekend for The Clone Wars yesterday and today where fans could enjoy kid-friendly Star Wars activities. The events included an Animator's Studio for creating your own Star Wars scene, plus ... well, why don't we just let friend of TFN Chris Cady explain?
"The Zeum, San Francisco's interactive animation/art studio for children, hosted a Clone Wars themed weekend on September 11th and 12th. The event was aimed at the younger fans of the series. The at-your-own-pace event had several areas for children to explore their creative side through arts and crafts as well as animation activities. Kids were able to create finger puppets of their favorite Clone Wars characters, make a foam R2-D2, play Clone Wars dress up and perform Karaoke with a Scout Trooper. Other activities included green screens to create your own dance video. You could even make your favorite Clone Wars character out of clay to star in your very own Clone Wars episode. One of the most popular events was the Jedi Lightsaber Training session led by Obi Wan Kenobi himself. Costumed members of the local 501st and Rebel Legion were in attendance."
