Clone Wars Premiere At Egyptian Theatre

"The U.S. premiere of the dazzling new CG-animated feature film Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be held Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Egyptian Theatre, where Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back debuted 28 years ago.

The historic Egyptian Theatre is also the home of the American Cinematheque, and all proceeds raised from the premiere of Lucasfilm Animation's first theatrical release will benefit the non-profit organization and its efforts to celebrate the moving picture in all of its forms. The Egyptian was also the home of the very first Hollywood movie premiere, in 1922."
