1983 Kenner Ackbar Meets The Clone Wars

In the absence of trivia tidbits in the new SW.com episode guides, our friend Daryl sent over the following find from the latest TCW episode:

"In the episode 4.3 ?Prisoners? of the Clone Wars Captain Ackbar has, what may be to some, a famaliar looking weapon. It looks exactly like the accessory that the Admiral Ackbar figure made by Kenner in 1983 came with! This accessory did not represent anything that Ackbar actually had in Return of the Jedi. It was just something that Kenner came up with. I don?t know who decided to put that detail in this episode but it was frigging awesome!"
