this planet was located near the Tund System, on the inner edge of the Outer Rim Territories, and was the homeworld of the Toong race. However, when a pair of comets struck the planet's surface, the resulting environmental disaster wiped out virtually every square inch of habitable surface area on the planet. The surviving Toongs were forced to flee to the nearby world of Tund. Decades later, during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy, the alien invaders captured Toong'L and installed a yammosk there. This gave the Yuuzhan Vong a base of operations from which to launch raids on New Republic outposts in the sector.
