Tereb Ab'Lon
a Bothan diplomat who was monitored by the Empire because they suspected, but could not prove, that he was an Alliance supporter. Ab'Lon was, in fact, secretly working for the Alliance. He was killed before he could deliver secret fleet schedules to an Alliance cell in the Tao-Grant System. Nevertheless, he had stored the information in the astromech droid R2-Z1, known as Fweep, which he handed over to Nim Bola before he slipped into a coma. His attackers later dropped him into the Sarlacc, in the Pit of Carkoon, on Tatooine. There was reason to believe that Tereb was eliminated by his superior, Gatrar Shey'Tyan, who had turned the Bothan planets over to the Empire.
