PALPATINE thought we would be interested in a little bit of info, and of course, we were.
On GMTV (early morning UK breakfast television ), they were doing a feature on Interactive TV, where, in the future, viewers will be able to choose what they watch and when they watch it. The feature was presented from Bradford's National Museum of Photography, Film and Television (NMPFT) and as a way of giving viewers the chance to choose what they wanted to see on GMTV at 7:20am, they gave a choice of "The Art of Star Wars" or "The Spice Girls Story".
Viewers were asked to phone in their votes and at 7:20am the result was announced. It was a close call but "The Art of Star Wars" won the day with 57% !
Thankfully, it shows the British viewers have some taste !
The feature itself presented us with some of the costumes on display and talked of the phenomenal success of Star Wars over the last 20 years, so it was interesting enough for those who would, perhaps, want to visit the exhibition.
And to top that off, misc2 sends us this and a few screen captures!
Just caught the end of a Star Wars feature shown on GMTV (breakfast TV) in the UK. The Art of Star Wars exhibition has moved to Bradford for the next year. Viewers were given a choice of watching the Star Wars feature or a promo on the Spice Girls. It's good to see common sense prevailed!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
