Good buddy of mine and official Indy-Cast correspondent Mitchell Hallock provides us with this update on the status of the fifth Indiana Jones film from TheInsider.com and when shooting is expected to take place.

"It is claimed filming will not start until next year, and it will not be released before 2011, when the star will be 69.

I don't know about you guys, but I was extremely disappointed with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. So the idea of Ford reprising his role as the greatest adventurer ever one last time at his advanced age has me feeling very skeptical of the final product we will see.

Then again, I really could use another Indy film to help wash out the terrible taste KOTCS left in my mouth.

UPDATE: Looks like the speculated timeframe for the release of Indy 5 is just that... pure speculation.
