AICN was at several WonderCon events over the weekend and reports the following from Steve Sansweet's presentation:
Celebration 4 is still under consideration for next year to go along with the 30th Anniversary of A New Hope, no official announcement yet though. ( I've got money on Sand Diego Comic Con )
Live action TV series will be based around the Original Trilogy. Previously we'd been told it would take place between Episode 3 & 4.
SONY has no plans to release full score CD's from for AOTC or ROTS as the sales for the Phantom Menace were pretty bad.
Updated! We've just received word from a fan of TheForce.net, Matt Martin who was at the Sansweet presentation and writes in with this:
"I was at Wondercon and at Steve Sansweet's presentation and he did say the live action show would take place between 3 and 4 NOT during the OT as AICN said. They get stuff wrong all the time anyway. I was just hoping to clear this up for the real Star Wars fans out there who depend on TFN for their news. Not only did Sansweet say that it would take place between 3 and 4 during the Q and A but they also showed the clip from Celebration 3 of George Lucas saying it during Wondercon's SW in 2005 montage.
I did have a other bit of news but I'm not sure if it's something you'd want to print but I was talking to Dan Parsons who inks for Star Wars Republic and he told me that Lucas himself requested that Quinlan Vos does not die in Republic #83, where Order 66 overlaps with the comics. Perhaps Quinn is destined to become a TV star?
I hope at least you can correct the info that was posted from AICN, there's enough rumors flying around about the TV show and I don't want to get confirmed items mixed in. Thanks."
No Matt, thank you for setting the record straight!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
