Welcome Carol Gilbert To TheForce.net Family

I wanted to take a moment to introduce all of our readers to a new team member here at TheForce.net. Carol Gilbert was one of the first to reply in my Help Wanted post ealier this year. I recognized her name as an active member of several online Star Wars communities and message boards I frequent. After a brief interview we decided that Carol would be a good fit here at TFN, so we asked her to join. I hope you'll all welcome her to the website and don't hesitate to send news her way, she's eager to post!

Here's a little bio from Carol.

"I have been a fan since the beginning. I saw ANH at the theatre at age 10 and was blown away. In the past few years I have expanded my fandom by venturing into costuming. I am a member of The Rebel Legion and Jedi Council member of The Jedi Assembly. As a costumer, I have aided fundraisers for The Vasculitis Foundation as well as help out at Columbus Children's Hospital and other functions. I appeared in a "Star Wars" documentary called "George and Me" by British journalist Sky Wilson. I am also a member of Ohio Star Wars Collector's Club and various on-line communities."

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch

Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
