This week the "back to school" theme has come to us in both old and new flavors. In addition to the new Star Wars Kooky pens story from earlier in the week, we now have a vintage story provided to us by Pete Vilmur as he takes a look back at the various school supplies that were offered by a company from England called Helix.
See the intro to the article below:
"In the spirit of back to school week, we thought we'd take a nostalgic look back at one of the coolest series of school supplies ever to be graced by the Star Wars logo -- yep, I'm talking about the pencil sharpeners, rulers, math sets and more produced in the late '70s by England's Helix company."

I'm sure there are a few kids out there right now that might not be too happy reading updates about heading back to school on their favorite Star Wars website. But alas, it is Star Wars-related, and as such we gotta report on it. But no worries - what better way to kick-off a new school year than with cool new Star Wars pens and a look back at some of the supplies that your mom and dad used when they were in school?
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
