Topher Grace, whom you may remember from That 70s Show, Traffic, and Spiderman 3, among other things, has taken on an interesting project in order to perfect his editing skills. He took the prequels and edited them down to a single 85 minute film. This was done using some alternative music from The Clone Wars, by utilizing a deleted scene or two, and by tweaking the story as we know it. Grace recently screened the film to a limited audience in Hollywood and our friend Steven Weintraub from Collider.com was one of those in the audience. Click here to not only check out his write-up, but also to view his roundtable video blog that includes Kyle Newman talking about the film and, of course, defending the prequels.
There's no word if Topher Grace will be releasing his edited version of the saga online, but we'll be sure to let you know if he does. If nothing else, it would be interesting to see his take and how he re-weaves the story. I don't personally look at it as an indictment on the prequels so much as a fun way to view something we're extremely familiar with in a different light.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
