Our friend Jim of the Garrison Tyranus garrison of the 501st sent word on a tribute to John Williams being held in Vienna, Virginia tomorrow evening...
"Members of the 501st Legion, Garrison Tyranus & Old Line Garrison, and the Rebel Legion Freedom Base & Terrapin Base will make an appearance as guests of the National Symphony Orchestra as they perform their tribute to "The Music of John Williams" (Maestro Steven Renieke Conducting!) this Saturday, July 7th at The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia. Costumed characters will make brief appearances before the show (weather dependent), and it is rumored that several characters may even appear on stage during performances of music from the Star Wars movies! For more information, visit the Wolf Trap website."
If I may add an oh-so-short editorial, the weather for the mid-Atlantic region is expected to be extremely hot tomorrow with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. Please be kind to those volunteers in sweaty costumes and it sure couldn't hurt to offer them up a cold beverage for their troubles. Support our Imperial and Rebel troops!

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
