Want the TFN podcast automatically downloaded to your iPod? The latest version of iTunes now includes podcast support, and TheForce.Net is available through their directory!
Here's what to do...
On the left, under "Sources," click Podcasts (it's immediately below "Library"). This is where your podcast subscriptions will be listed.
At the bottom, click Podcast Directory (or, if you prefer, you can choose "Music Store" on the left). You'll see a message saying "Accessing Music Store," but don't worry. Subscribing to our podcast is free!
On the left column there's a search field. Simply type in the name of the podcast you're looking for (such as "TheForce.Net"), and hit Enter.
You'll notice TheForce.Net is listed twice. That's because it falls under two different categories. It doesn't matter which you subscribe to, it's the same feed. Simply click one of the Subscribe buttons on the right.
Then you're all set! TheForce.Net will be added to your podcast list, which you can access at any time by clicking Podcast on the far left. Hopefully this new iTunes feature will make it easier for iPod owners (or even iTunes users without iPods) to listen to TheForce.Net!
UPDATED: If you go directly to the "Music Store" page, make sure you select "Podcasts" from the genre list!
They're currently experiencing a lot of traffic at the music store, so you might have some time-outs. Just expect some traffic-related issues.
Remember how I said there are two feeds? The one in the "Arts & Entertainment" has the right feed URL. The one in "Movies and Television" will work, but we'd rather direct all our traffic to the new feed. Both links should work, but if you experience any problems, use the "Arts & Entertainment" listing for now. We're working with iTunes to get the double-listing corrected.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
