Ten Years Ago: The New Jedi Order

Today marks the tenth anniversary of Vector Prime's release, the first of nineteen novels that make up the New Jedi Order. When it was released on October 5th, 1999, R.A. Salvator's debut sent shock waves through the fandom with the death of one of the saga's most beloved characters, Chewbacca.

The Expanded Universe was forever changed ten years ago today.
