A couple big events in Austin, Texas and New York City kicked off the official launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic last evening and we have some coverage of the events to share with you. The Austin Business Journal reports that over 300 fans showed up for the Austin event and, per their slideshow, it looks as though a number of troopers and R2-D2 were there as well.
Meanwhile, in New York City, fans waited for hours in order to get their hands on the newly released MMO and meet BioWare co-founders Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk. Check out the video courtesy of TodaysTHV.com.

I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated.
