Son Of Skywalker from fan site The EU Cantina.Net has contacted us to let us know that they've scored an interview with Lucas Licensing editor Sue Rostoni—she's the person in overall charge of the Star Wars books, comics, and other such things.
The interview gives a good sense of the range of responsibilities involved in Sue's job, and quite a lot of interesting information on the way that the 'Legacy of the Force' series was put together. And most importantly of all:
"Every day starts with hot chocolate. I have my priorities...."
Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it's worth noting that this is actually one of two interviews this week in which the Expanded Universe people are opening up on the construction of the "Legacy of the Force" series—the other one is a round-table with the authors, included in the back of the new "Legacy of the Force" novel, Inferno.
I don't know about you, but I really like this sort of insight into the creative process. I also think it helps to avoid the sort of confusion that's sometimes happened in the past—over the decision to kill Anakin Solo in the NJO, for example....
But, more importantly, congratulations to The EU Cantina.Net on scoring an awesome interview!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
