Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination Clearance
Posted By Dustin on April 20, 2007
As many of you know, The California Science Center in Los Angeles has been proud to host the "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination" exhibit since the beginning of February. They're nearing the end of the run ? April 29th is the last day- and with screenings and appearances and such it's been a whirlwind of Star Wars events for almost 4 months.
Beyond the exhibit, one of the amazing attractions and -exhibit in its own right- has been the incredible gift shop! The Science Center worked very hard to provide the latest and greatest of Star Wars fare, including items I haven't seen in years. The store closes when the exhibit does, and they don't want to be saddled with a lot of Star Wars gear when the exhibit moves on to Ft. Worth, Texas.
So the exhibit store is giving everyone a great opportunity to get some excellent gear at unheard of prices. They've cut serious deals on items in stock, in many cases at or below cost just to reclaim the space in their stockroom.
A selection of the sale includes:
36" Encore Darth Vader (w/breathing effect and illuminating saber): $295.00
Master Replicas FX Sabers: $99.95
MR .45 Mini Sabers: $29.95
MR .45 Mini Blasters: $34.95
MR Saber Replicas: $249.95
MR Darth Vader Helmet: $599.95
MR Ep III Clone Trooper Helmet: $249.95
Code 3 Vader TIE: $99.95
Official Pix 8x10 photos: $2.98
Sideshow 1/4th (Epic) Scale Statues: $159 (some more, some less depending on figure)
SS 12" figs: $35.99 & $39.95
SS Darth Maul 1:1 scale Bust: $399.95
Books and Graphic Novels: at least 20% off list price(many marked down even more!)
Gentle Giant Bust-Ups: $4.95
GG Maquettes: $49.95
Kotobukiya Vinyl Statues: $59
Plus shirts, postcards, posters, pewter, pins and buckles, Hasbro and Rubies items, and more.
They can't ship to you and at these prices all sales are final, but if you're in L.A. swing by and check it out- admission to the California Science Center and the Star Wars exhibit are free (so you don't even have to pay for that (see the California Science Center's website for admission details during peak hours).
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
