It seems that the attempts of Lucasfilm and DelRey to prevent spoiler leakage about the new novel Sacrifice have failed already.
We're still a week ahead of the publication date, there are reliable reports of Canadian e-booksellers shipping copies to the public, and over at the New Jedi Order Encyclopedia website, walker00001, who's built up a reliable reputation with accurate early information on previous novels, says he's already got hold of a copy.
Here on TF.N's own Literature message boards, someone by the name of darthtoast is posting the same spoilers as well. No idea if this information is independent of what's being revealed on NJOE, but he is saying the same thing.
For now, we're treating this information as accurate.
Don't scroll any further down the page unless you want major events of the upcoming novel to be revealed.
You're sure you want this...?
Really sure?
Realy, really sure?

SPOILERS
Jacen Solo becomes a Sith Lord and takes the name Darth Cadeus.
Luke Skywaker's wife, Mara, is killed, apparently at Jacen's hands.
There's a list of characters with a lot of Mandalorians in it, and no Han Solo.
If you've followed the fan discussion on this book in any depth, you'll know that none of this is really a surprise.
* Mara dying in the midpoint novel of 'Legacy of the Force' was something that a lot of people had suspected would happen since the start of the series a year ago. It's a major character death that avoids touching the "big three" of movie heroes, but still has a high-profile impact. Or would have done, if we weren't all braced for it anyway.
* Jacen becoming a Sith Lord was pretty obvious from the outset of the series, and even more so when they began an online poll to choose his Sith title, and Cadeus has been the standout favourite out of the choices since the start.
* Karen Traviss likes to use Mandalorian characters in her stories.
Maybe there's more to come, and if there is, we'll let you know. I'm certainly withholding my judgement on the actual story until I manage to read the novel myself (although it seems that'll probably be the end of the month in the UK).
My initial reaction to the raw information, however, is a polite shrug. I'm willing to be convinced, but really...
Is that it?

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
